Microsoft’s “Mojave Experiment” Attempts to Improve Vista’s Image

Welcome to the “Mojave Experiment.” What do people think of Windows Vista when they don’t know it’s Windows Vista? We disguised Windows Vista as codename “Mojave,” the “next Microsoft OS,” so regular people who’ve never used Windows Vista could see what it can do – and decide for themselves. Now decide for yourself.
Microsoft gathered some ordinary folks, asked them about their views of Vista, and then let them try out what they called “Mojave,” an identical version of Vista.
Lo and behold, the users were amazed by this new OS, quite an entertaining experience to watch especially when they find out that it was Vista all along.
Whether you agree or not, the Mojave Experiment, as Microsoft calls it, may be quite valuable in its newly launched ad campaign to improve Vista’s image. Vista, says Microsoft, is not “as bad” as people make of it – a good deal of it is due to distortions by the media and other bias.
As a Vista, XP, and Ubuntu user myself, I appreciate the GUI enhancements to Vista. Although I haven’t noticed any remarkable improvements in stability and speed from XP, it sure hasn’t gotten worse. I’m actually rooting for Microsoft in this situation – it deserves some better recognition for its operating system.

Vista really is not that great, even if people thought it was
